New Painting in support of Project Zero

Available now on Artsy

Turn the Tide on the Climate Crisis

Michael has donated a recent painting to Project Zero and Artsy's Turn the Tide on the Climate Crisis auction, to help protect and restore our oceans. Project Zero is a global movement supported by renowned scientists, business leaders, campaigners, culture makers and ocean experts, who are all working together to awaken the fight for the ocean. As an avid SCUBA diver, Michael is especially proud to advocate and support the work of Project Zero.

Because of COVID and New York's stay-at-home orders, Michael hasn't been able to work in his NYC studio and instead, has been using his home's dining room as a temporary studio. The painting he donated to the Project Zero auction was made in this space and reflects the influence of the nature outside his window and the yard and garden work he's been doing with the unusual amount of time he's been spending at home.

Twenty four artists have donated to this auction including Alexandra Richards, Amy Holland, Baron von Fancy, Beatrice Pediconi, Beth O'Donnell, Brianna Lance, Bruce Weber, Cavier Coleman, Claudia Melli, David King Reuben, Edward Granger, Harland Miller, James Goldcrown, Lola Flash, Mario Barila, Mauro Perucchetti, Michela Martello, Porkchop, Randolph Holland, Robert Mann, Vava Ribeiro, Victoria de Lesseps, Wyland, and Michael De Feo.
