This year's auction features works donated by nearly 70 acclaimed artists - including Laurie Anderson, Ross Bleckner, Vija Celmins, Renee Cox, Maryam Eisler, Eric Fischl, Caio Fonseca, Mary Heilmann, Joel Mesler, Betty Parsons, Jill Platner, Martin Puryear, Kenny Schachter, Kenny Scharf, Cindy Sherman, Robert Wilson and more - in support of LongHouse Reserve's educational and public initiatives. By bidding, you also support and celebrate the artists, as they share in the final proceeds. The curated auction for Luminosity showcases an eclectic mix of media, genres, and eras, sure to captivate collectors with diverse interests.
Founded by Jack Lenor Larsen (1927-2020) in East Hampton, LongHouse is a synthesis of traditional and modernist architecture, a beautifully realized sculpture garden. LongHouse is a museum of living and non-living collections; the art, plants and house built as a case study to exemplify a creative approach to contemporary life.
